Language learning and hypnosis
At Heart of Language, we combine language learning and hypnosis within a structured teaching method designed for adults.
Our goal is simple: to help you actively use a new language.
Lessons focus on speaking, listening, vocabulary, grammar, and communication in real-life situations. Hypnosis is integrated into the lesson structure to support a focused and relaxed learning environment.
Individual lessons
We specialise in individual lessons and two-person lessons.
This allows every course to be adapted to your level, goals, and learning pace. You have the opportunity to ask questions, practise actively, and receive personal guidance throughout the learning process.
Whether you are a complete beginner or already have experience with the language, the lessons are tailored to your situation.
What is the role of hypnosis?
Hypnosis is an integral part of our teaching method.
During hypnosis, you remain fully present and in control. Many people compare the experience to the concentration that occurs when becoming deeply absorbed in a book, film, or activity.
Within our lessons, hypnosis is used to support a calm and focused learning environment. The emphasis always remains on learning and using the language.
Active language use from the beginning
We believe languages are best learned by using them.
For this reason, speaking and communication are integrated into the lessons from the beginning. Grammar, pronunciation, and vocabulary are also important, but they are always taught in support of communication.
The goal is not only to understand the language, but also to actively speak and use it.
What does a lesson look like?
For most learners, a lesson consists of three phases. The exact structure may vary depending on the language, level, and individual goals.
Phase 1 – Introduction of new language elements
The lesson begins with the introduction of new words, sentences, or dialogues. During this phase, hypnosis is used to support a focused learning environment.
You do not need to do anything special. You simply listen to the lesson content while your teacher guides you through the exercise.
Phase 2 – Active practice
Next, you work together with your teacher on the content of the lesson.
New words and sentences are explored in greater depth and actively practised. There is also an opportunity to ask questions about pronunciation, grammar, vocabulary, culture, and communication.
Phase 3 – Consolidation
In the final phase, the new language elements are revisited within the hypnosis phase.
This stage helps reinforce the words, expressions, and structures introduced during the lesson and provides further exposure to the language material covered.
A tailored approach
Every learner has different goals.
Some people learn a language for work. Others are preparing for relocation, travel, family communication, or personal interest.
Because all lessons are tailored individually, the content of the course can continuously adapt to your needs and progress.
Our teachers
Our teachers are experienced native speakers who have been trained in the Heart of Language method.
In addition to their language and teaching skills, they learn how language education and hypnosis are combined within our lesson structure.
Between lessons
After each lesson, you receive a recording of the session.
This allows you to listen again to words, sentences, exercises, and conversations from your own course. Many learners use these recordings as a valuable complement to the lessons, helping them continue hearing and using the language between sessions.
Depending on your goals and course, your teacher may also recommend additional exercises or activities. These are adapted to your individual learning objectives.
Online or in person
Lessons are available online via Microsoft Teams or at one of our locations in the Netherlands.
Both formats follow the same method and provide the same personal guidance.
Who is our method For?
Our courses are designed for adults who want to learn a new language in a way that is effective, personal, and enjoyable.
Whether you are learning a language for work, travel, relocation, study, family, or personal development, the course is adapted to your goals.
